Amazon may dispute them and has not been found liable in connection with the potential claims described here. The complaint filed by the New Jersey Attorney General on August 4, 2026 was brought in New Jersey and alleges harm to drivers there and, in its words, likely across the country. Attorneys are evaluating potential nationwide claims; no nationwide case has yet been filed, and whether one can be brought has not been decided by any court.
